L&E Research was founded by Lynne Eggers and opened its doors in 1984 in Raleigh, North Carolina as a field research company, offering focus group qualitative research recruiting and field intercept services.

An active member in the qualitative and quantitative market research community, Lynne and her husband, Ed, later partnered to expand her business to include focus group facilities and an ever-growing database in the Raleigh focus group research market. They built a business whose foundation was premised on these simple bedrock principles of Focus Group Qualitative Research: great recruiting, great recruiting, and great recruiting. Along with superior attention to details and exemplary service, L&E Research grew into one of the largest focus group companies in North Carolina.

In 2004, L&E Research was assumed by B Square Enterprises, Inc. and introduced Brett Watkins, formerly Vice President of Management Research and Planning Corp., a Raleigh market research and consulting firm, as President and General Manager of L&E Research. Coupling Mr. Watkins expertise in Business-to-Business and non-database recruiting with the traditional database recruiting services of L&E Research, L&E greatly expanded our Raleigh focus group research recruiting capabilities to meet our clients’ needs.

In 2005, we focused on expanding our great recruiting capabilities. Our focus group qualitative research recruiting, renowned by being “top rated” by Impulse Survey since 2001, continues to improve as we focus on bringing you the best participants possible.

L&E Research implemented  massive initiatives to grow our already immense database allowing us to recruit  more and more of the Internet connected Raleigh market and deliver  fresh and qualified participants for our client’s  studies.  As part of that growth, L&E broadened our local physician and other healthcare professional's database and began building our internal medical team with exceptional staff who bring with them clinical backgrounds and experience to better serve the pharmaceutical and medical research requirements of our clients.  By 2007, we tripled our Raleigh database making the types of qualitative or quantitative market research studies you can do with L&E Research almost limitless.  Just two years later, we added over 700,000 nationwide physicians to our database to accommodate the nationwide medical recruiting needs of our clients.

New facilities in Raleigh, North Carolina are another improvement we made at L&E Research in 2005, and they are as nice as any you will find in the country. In 2009, we renovated, adding a 700+ square foot multipurpose room to our Raleigh facility offerings for your large CLT/mock jury/usability projects and now have three full-sized focus group suites to accompany your large multipurpose room.
