Steven Perkins

Steven has been working in web development since 2004, and in a senior developer role since 2010. Much of his experience has been spent developing heavily data-driven web applications across a variety of industries, including education, distribution, health care, and market research. Steven has always maintained a focus on quality and data integrity. Outside of work, Steven is usually spending time with his family. In the evening, he likes to wind down playing video games. Steven lifts weights and exercises regularly to help clear his mind and stay healthy. When time permits, Steven can be found tinkering with RC cars and running them around the yard.

DeAnna McGee

DeAnna joined L&E Research in 2023 in the Human Resources Department. She quickly grasped the department and company’s culture and needs. In just a short time, she was promoted to Human Resources Manager. DeAnna loves all aspects of Human Resources. She is passionate about helping employees in any way possible. Her background is in Human Resources and Employee Benefits.

James Hubbard, Jr.

James has been leading Engineering, Product, and Technical Teams since the early 2000s. With roots in Software Engineering he quickly found passion for Technical Product Management. Before joining L&E he spent a decade at Apple leading teams and projects in Consumer Support, Global Supply Chain, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). Recently, he has been focused on Enterprise AI Implementation including building tools and conducting research involving Agentic AI and Synthetic Data.

James spends his downtime with his wife and 3 children. They enjoy taking in unique experiences and enjoying nature. He’s a dedicated mentor focused on helping people with major career shifts. He’s a self-proclaimed “HUGE Sci-Fi Nerd” who’s favorite franchise is Stargate and a faithful Commanders fan.

Allan Hales

Allan has a passion for accounting and tax planning. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2013 and completed his master’s degree in 2015. He started working in public accounting in 2013, working at a local firm prior to retaining a position at RSM in 2016. He was introduced to L&E while working at another firm in 2022, and decided to make the jump to join the team at L&E in 2024.

Allan is a southern guy from the Cape Fear region of NC. He is a family man first for his wife and two children. Allan enjoys spending time with his family, listening to country music, hunting, fishing, and making the required journal entry every now and then.

Ruby Collier

Ruby joined the L&E Research finance team in 2019 and has enjoyed learning as much as possible about the market research industry. A former accounts receivable assistant and then a school teacher, she was ready to leave the classroom behind and return to the world of finance. The added responsibilities of human resources has been exciting to learn and add to her knowledge base. Ruby looks forward to serving the employees and clients of L&E for years to come.

April Collier

With a career that spans Recruiting, Client Services, Finance, and Human Resources, all at L&E Research, April brings a well-rounded perspective to her role as Director of HR & Compliance at L&E Research that allows her to lead with a comprehensive perspective and insight.

Outside the office, April enjoys gardening and has recently embraced home renovation, dedicating her weekend hours to restoring and revitalizing two family estate homes. She’s also a proud mom of three adult children, navigating the joys and challenges of this new stage of life as they pursue careers of their own.

Josh Bradley

Josh has worked for L&E since 2014, coming on board during the Cincinnati acquisition. Originally working as a Screener Programmer, Josh took on the responsibilities working exclusively on the audio and video systems of quickly growing facilities. Josh has made visits to each and every location for installation and maintenance on L&E’s top-of-the-line A/V systems.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, specifically in the old GM plant town of Norwood, Josh started in the market research industry not long after high school. He is an electric harmonica blues player, vinyl record collector, lifelong Trekkie, and horror movie enthusiast. At present, he is also an avid reader with more unread books than read.
