Host remote focus groups, in-depth interviews, and hybrid research sessions with live technical support, participant management, and secure recording, all managed by L&E.
L&E Research operates a virtual facility that supports remote qualitative research across every methodology we recruit for: focus groups, in-depth interviews, jury simulations, online communities, concept evaluations, and multi-session longitudinal studies. The virtual facility is not a software platform you license. It is a managed research environment where L&E’s team handles participant access, live technical support, session hosting, recording, and post-session file delivery so your team can focus on the research itself.
The virtual facility works alongside L&E’s physical research facilities across the United States. For hybrid studies that combine in-person sessions at an L&E location with remote participants joining virtually, the same infrastructure and support team manages both sides of the session.

Every virtual session is supported by an L&E host who manages participant access, monitors audio and video quality, troubleshoots technical issues in real time, and coordinates communication between the moderator, observers, and participants. The host joins before the session starts and stays through completion, handling logistics so the moderator can stay focused on the conversation.

L&E’s virtual facility works with the platform your team prefers: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other videoconferencing tools. We configure the session environment, manage breakout rooms, handle screen sharing and stimulus display, and adapt the setup to your study’s specific requirements. You don’t need to learn a new system or change your team’s existing workflow.

L&E manages scheduling, session confirmations, and pre-session technology checks for every participant. Before a session begins, our team verifies that each participant’s audio, video, and internet connection meet the requirements, reducing no-shows and eliminating delays caused by technical issues at session start. This is an extension of the same recruitment and participant management process that supports all L&E studies.

All virtual sessions are recorded and made available through L&E’s secure Client Portal, with the same authenticated access controls used for in-facility recordings. Remote stakeholders can observe sessions live through the portal’s streaming tools, tag key moments, and access recordings on demand after sessions end. No third-party file-sharing or separate streaming subscriptions required.

For studies that require both in-person and remote participation, L&E coordinates the technology and logistics to connect participants across formats. In-facility sessions can include remote observers and remote participants simultaneously, using the same A/V infrastructure and video streaming system that supports purely in-person research. The experience is consistent regardless of where participants are joining from.
