As a 23 year veteran researcher in the consumer research space, he consults with research teams to clarify their research objectives, determining best methodologies, liaising with suppliers to execute with excellence, and helping to drive decisions with the data. He also helps lead the 300+ members of the Digital /Virtual/ Social Special Interest Team, and specializes in online qualitative tools, video analysis, mobile based tools, and behavioral research.Read more

    Barry Jennings

    Barry has more than three decades of experience in market research. He started in research while still in college as a telephone survey researcher and later worked on international technology brand-related market research at Millward Brown IntelliQuest.  He spent 18 years at Dell in research positions that covered almost every product the company produced.  Next, Barry moved into the mobile space by joining BlackBerry, where he was head of market research and competitive intelligence focused on business to business solutions. At Microsoft, Barry and his team deliver insights to drive the company’s cloud marketing and commercial business planning groups. Barry’s research focus includes cloud computing, data platform, AI, development tools, and other enterprise solutions.Read more

    Brett Watkins is the President and CEO of L&E Research, a rapidly expanding qualitative market research firm with offices in Raleigh, Charlotte, Tampa, Cincinnati, Columbus, Denver, Austin, and New York City. A major aspect of his work focuses on collaborating with multiple organizations to help advance innovation and strategic positioning of the market research industry, most prominently as the Editor-in-Chief of the GreenBook Blog and GreenBook Research Industry Trends Report, 2 of the most widely read and influential publications in the global insights industry. Mr. Murphy is a key consultant to numerous insight-focused organizations on both the supplier and client side and an advisor to several technology focused start-ups via his consulting practice. He is involved with multiple organizations including the Insight Innovation Exchange, The ARF, NY AMA, NewMR & MRGA.
