L&E Research, a Raleigh, NC-based business founded in 1984, has been named to the Inc. 5000 list for 2014. It was ranked as the 753rd fastest growing private business in the United States and, as an operator of focus group facilities, one of the very few in the Market Research industry.
From 2010 to 2013 (the measurement period for the 2014 list), L&E’s revenues grew 606% to over $4.7 million, driven by strong year-over-year growth at its existing locations plus the opening of facilities in Tampa, Charlotte and St. Louis. During that time, the number of employees also skyrocketed so that now, L&E employs nearly 200 full-time and part-time employees.
According to L&E’s President, Brett Watkins , “As we look to the future, we are not resting on our laurels. Already in 2014, we have acquired additional facilities in Cincinnati, Columbus (OH) and Baltimore with revenues on pace to grow another 80%. And our eyes are wide open for 2015.”
